Tuesdays Tantalizing Tidbits~~~

Nothing much happening , definitely not tantalizing....but it is a catchy phrase...i
think.

Well....today in the US its D day....voting day. The anxiety of it all..makes me
wanna do a Rip Van Winkle and wake up on Friday or Saturday. It is said that
some states...important states wont finish counting until later. Mail in, absentee
votes etc. They say the largest voter turnout in history. Thats just how
passionate this election is for some.

.......and to think that other countries are watching this ensuing madness .

I think its probably wise to stay away and avoid the crowds, as it may not be a
pretty sight if things go crazy and people go crazier.

What a time to be citizen of the U.S.

All i can say is the chapter of the year 2020
in the history books...will be a hefty one.

Anyone else have any Tantalizing Tidbits of Tuesday ?

Will be glad when the election is over.
Next thing to look forward to is Veterans Day. Thank a vet for serving our great country.
Then its turkey day. Thank a farmer for the food that will be served.

Ohhhhh Sprite....me too. Its def time to move on from all the nonsense. Yes...before you know it...Vets and all those other holidays are upon us. This morn...i saw a house all decked out in Christmas gear....candy canes on the lawn etc....i actually had to do a double take to see if they doubled up and had turkeys out there too...lol. They didnt though...i must go back in the eve to see if they actually turn the lights on. I know many people put em out there...in the better weather...but dont actually light them till later.

Thank you for your comments....you always find me...and always comment. Man of a few words that you are. I appreciate it !! Huggsss

I had to get up at 3am today for work so I'm gonna go to bed early and every time I get up to pee, which is quite often, I'm gonna turn on the tv and take a peek.

I have tried not to look....its 2 30 .am...and i need the distractions. So i have it on in the background. I thought i didnt need the anxiety of the election, but i received news that my longest and closest friend passed away , so i have this anxiety provoking national news on to try and overshadow my own personal news and sadness. Ugh

i thank you for your comment...i guess we will all know ina few days~~

mcmc... just curious. as i am also on this never ending waking up too early schedule... what time do you go to sleep? a lot of days i tank at 2pm. this puts me wiped out on the sofa for a few hours. skip dinner. move to bed. up again at midnight. sometimes i can get a few more hours in. but i often start my work day at 6AM. i used to start it at 3AM but they asked me to start later in the day this year.

Not a fun time at all. I had to vote by mail but am so happy it is over. Whatever that means???? It is never over until it is over .. What does that mean .. maybe turn it into a record and play it backwards ..People . big question mark

Craziness was a bit mild on what has gone down with the election. I have been a
Republican since I could firs vote but I will not be a member of the Trump Cult.
The calls that were made and inciting the mob to attack the Capital are beyond belief Or watching the Republicans in Washington act like "No Problem"

Yes....the ensuing madness certainly lived up to what i said before i even knew....and those poor people trapped inside the Capitol.....i cant even fathom the fear of not knowing what was going on. Now to only uncover that many many people knew what was planned. Yet, help was delayed in coming. And now more madness as we are entering in to yet another impeachment proceeding. Ugh !!
Yes....i have learned that trumppublicans and republicans are vastly different. Thanks for your comment~

Oh Braille....its def not over...3 months since the election and there are still remnants of nonsense happening. The whole deal needs a re haul in my opinion.
Lol @ play it backwards.....Blasphemy !! ~

In the words of the apocryphal 'Chinese Curse', "May you live in interesting times". If nothing more, these are interesting times.
