Well, it is that time of year. The annual “manly” rite of the winter beard for the males in my family. For over 30 years in the military, I was unable to be a participant. I had to be clean shaven, except for a moustache. Since I retired, I have participated in the family rite starting a beard around Thanksgiving . It has run the gamut from a bushy (not quite “Lumbersexual”) one, short and trimmed , and now trimmed with a “3 day” guard on the trimmer. It is almost the “scruffy” look, but better maintained. I am thinking I like this “3day” trim. It is a bit tougher as the hairs is graying.
Before you say it, no I am not getting fixated on beards, just a coincidence, these last few posts.

The normal look, clean shaven with the moustache

When I woke up this morning, this song was on. "Let's talk about you and me by Salt N Pepa "

Let's talk about sex baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things

I thought it would be a good time to just chat. Share whatever, ask whatever. It does not have to be about sex, it could be anything, the good , the bad and ugly. Vent, Rant, compliment, share a recipe, tease ,flirt, what ever you feel like. Share a sexy picture, or a vista you like. I have the coffee and tea pots on, so " Let's talk about you and me"

This is the answer to the metrosexual and the latest thing in men's fashion
By Shelley Hazen, Newser Staff .Posted Nov 13, 2014 8:14 AM CST
Newser) – He's unshaven, a little dirty, and dresses like a woodsman. No, he's not a slob, he's … sexy? This guy—think Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor, Nick Offerman, or Chuck Norris—is a lumbersexual, apparently. And just what is that? He's the opposite of the shaven and moisturized metrosexual, with all his skinny jeans and hair gel, Gear Junkie explains. The lumbersexual wears an "unkempt beard, nothing tight, plaid, maybe even plaid on plaid, and an appropriate level of disaffection," writes Tom Puzak. "His backpack carries a MacBook Air, but looks like it should carry a lumberjack's axe." But these lovers of the "pseudo-outdoors" live in concrete jungles, sporting their flannel and work boots on the streets of LA or New York.
"The lumbersexual spends the same amount of money, but looks filthy," writes Aleksander Chan at Gawker. "Both kinds of men are working very hard to fashion themselves into a certain look." And the look came from the gay community, contends Tim Teeman at the Daily Beast. They invented the "smooth, pretty gay metrosexual," and their "hairier brethren," the "bears" and cubs" inspired the lumbersexual.

This discussion is about men that have this look for style, not those that are this way because of their work.
I guess to each their own. I have no interest in this look. My only comment (s), isn’t it readily apparent that a person is “fronting” and is not who they represent themselves to be? I may be a bit too much into details , but the accessories in some of these examples have clearly never been used.
So a couple questions. Have you ever heard of this ‘look” before? Is it attractive to you. Or guys, is it something you would do?

Maybe the scent of a sweaty guy?

Look at the pipe. Never been used, pristine condition.

Do they have an “app” for that?

Well, I can say, yes I do enjoy holding hands . There are many ways it is special. One way is holding hands with a as we walk. I think they feel the strength and love as we do, making them feel safe. And similarly with my partner. I think somehow it creates a communications link. What better than to sit hand in hand, feeling the warmth, the pulsing and gentle movements. How important is hand holding to you? If not, could you tells us why not?

I heard a subject on the radio being discussed yesterday and thought would be fun to see what you may have to say. The subject,, Craziest thing you did while drunk? I am sure we are all pristine in our behavior , but maybe you have heard about “someone” that did something silly or naughty while partying and or consuming adult beverages. In my years in the military , I say many things, some unbelievable. But of course my demeanor was above reproach . So tell us your favorite or most embarrassing party / drinking story. Remember what you say stays here

Around here, it seems like every day is laundry day . Always something to clean or dust. Something tells me, I will get no sympathy . With just me , and a service doing the heavy cleaning, I guess it is not so bad. Do you get help with your house cleaning chores? Are you on your own to do them? I know it is a mundane subject, but I really would like to hear about your methodology

You know, I have always resisted falling for the stereo type that has been given to this store. But #$%^ ,every time I go to one ,something happens that feeds the stereo type. It can be the vehicles in the parking lot (some of them are ingenious ) or the patrons and their activities in the store. Have you had any "adventures" in Walmart that you would like to share? None of the following is meant to be mean spirited, only for fun.

Last night I was browsing the internet and read this story. It did not get a lot of press, but is a poignant little piece of history. It is about the passing of a man that was an unassuming person with enough courage for all of us. On Saturday, August 16th. BERNARD FRANCIS FISHER,, Major US Air Force (Retired) passed away. May he Rest in Peace and be honored for his sacrifices and courage.

He is recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor

Date of Issue: 01/19/1967
Place / Date: Bien Hoa and Pleiku, Vietnam, 10 March 1966

Citation
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. On that date, the special forces camp at A Shau was under attack by 2,000 North Vietnamese Army regulars. Hostile troops had positioned themselves between the airstrip and the camp. Other hostile troops had surrounded the camp and were continuously raking it with automatic weapons fire from the surrounding hills. The tops of the 1,500-foot hills were obscured by an 800 foot ceiling, limiting aircraft maneuverability and forcing pilots to operate within range of hostile gun positions, which often were able to fire down on the attacking aircraft. During the battle, Maj. Fisher observed a fellow airman crash land on the battle-torn airstrip. In the belief that the downed pilot was seriously injured and in imminent danger of capture, Maj. Fisher announced his intention to land on the airstrip to effect a rescue. Although aware of the extreme danger and likely failure of such an attempt, he elected to continue. Directing his own air cover, he landed his aircraft and taxied almost the full length of the runway, which was littered with battle debris and parts of an exploded aircraft. While effecting a successful rescue of the downed pilot, heavy ground fire was observed, with 19 bullets striking his aircraft. In the face of the withering ground fire, he applied power and gained enough speed to lift-off at the overrun of the airstrip. Maj. Fisher's profound concern for his fellow airman, and at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty are in the highest traditions of the U.S. Air Force and reflect great credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of his country.

Whatever the word you use, sometimes it seems that masturbation can be a pleasant form of relief.. Probably in most cases not the preferred method, but it works in a pinch. Do you think that it is just a normal part of your sexuality? Do you find it "normal" if your partner discloses that he or she masturbates? I find it just something natural, I enjoy sharing with my partner, as part of foreplay. Please share your thoughts or experiences

Yes it is! So many places are getting their first snow of the season. We just had our first snow overnight. Nothing measurable, just a light dusting, actually looked nice coming down. How are you able to adapt from the ease of outdoor recreation to the restrictions of the winter and the possibility of snow? Some people I have seen are very reluctant and try to carry on like there is no change. Does the coming of winter change your routine?
