I am a very direct and somewhat bold personality - which comes from my time as a training instructor in the USAF. I work at keeping myself fit and do a lot of creative/constructive activities. I am the type of person that works hard to be an expert in subjects that catch my interest. Intelligent and focused are good words to describe that. I have a quirky sense of humor and you just never know when I will bust out a line or joke or pop-culture movie reference that just makes you laugh. I have a lot of hobbies I have cultivated over the years and I am a fantastic cook. Whether that be Thai Curry, German Jaeger Schnitzel or simply Denver omelets in the morning. Companionship is key for me, if that leads further then it's what was intended to happen. And those close to me I have a fierce loyalty for whether that is a partner or my closest friends. In an open marriage of sorts. We are not "like that" with each other and haven't been for a long time. More like roommates sharing living space. No arguments or fights, so no sense making lawyers richer by separating. She has her boyfriend. I get to have my girlfriend - which is why I am on here. It's not ENM as most people think of it since we both stick with just one person. On the plus side that means sneaking around is not something I have to be concerned of on my side. This works for us, and we are both encouraging of each other's relationships. A bee doesn't spend time trying to convince a fly that honey is better than shit. I respect if a potential partner has discretion issues, I just need to know up front for their sake. As you can read here, I am putting most of the cards face up on the table right now; that there are no major relationship surprises. SCAMMERS: Please just move along and don't waste my time. I didn't come down with the last drop of rain. After working 20-odd years in information technology security, you're not going to pull one over on me. My Ideal Person Stated up front. I am here to meet people IRL not to engage a keyboard warrior's life. I look at this as a way to get introductions to people that can be friends and to find a lady that will be more. If you are not looking to get out and make real friends in person, then you're not a match for me.

I appreciate a potential partner that is not afraid to say what they want. Bravery is something I look for and admire. Maturity and level headedness are also traits I look for. And if I goof up, I prefer someone who will just let me know what it was, give me an opportunity to fix it, and not just ghost me. People who play that game: it's cowardly and need not apply. I care for people that I deem close and worrying that they are safe and secure under radio silence is not my cup of joe.

I do like women with some flair and are reasonably physically fit, but not gym-junkies. Life is too short to be spending it on a treadmill all day. Stylish is attractive to me. A woman that can help me shop for a good suit and not have me look like a victim of Vampire-the Masquerade is a plus. And I'm not in some mid-life crisis looking to relive my college days with someone half my age (not that I remember those days - kind of hazy there ) - but I'm not against the idea of a much younger woman as long as she is the right kind. jealousy is a no-no. I'm not looking to change your relationships, so don't be looking to change mine.
